Puente de San Martín
Located on the western edge of the city, the Puente de San Martín was built in the 13th century. The structure has five impressive arches that span the Río Tajo gorge and links the city to the countryside. It is now a pedestrian bridge. Its defensive towers on both sides attest to the military importance of the city. From the bridge there are magnificent views of the city and the surrounding countryside.
