The KU Summer Spanish Institute gave students the opportunity
to learn about the many facets of Iberian culture through classroom work
and through first-hand observation.
Barcelona's artistic legacy afforded an essential introduction
to the variety and richness of the cultures of Spain.
In Barcelona, classroom
activities were supplemented by visits to museums and other historic
sites.
