Once the residence of the kings of Aragón, Zaragoza lies on the banks of the Ebro River. The city bears the marks of Roman, Visigothic, and Moorish cultures. The group headed for Zaragoza by train and stayed near the central area of the city, not far from the Basilica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar. |
