DONOSTIA (SAN SEBASTIÁN) - BILBAO

San Sebastián lies on the Bay of Biscay in the northwest corner of Spain. The city arches around a crescent-shaped beach, La Concha (the Shell), one of the finest beaches in Europe. Its elegant promenades, boulevards, and walkways give this resort town a distinctive character. The group spent two nights in this seaside resort. Students were able to visit Bilbao and experience some of the artistic energy of the País Vasco.
