Figueres lies 42 km north of Girona in a predominantly agricultural area. The town, birthplace of Salvador Dalí, houses the spectacular Teatre-Museu Dalí.

The building, a former theater of Figueres, combines traditional exhibition space with multilevel venues for experiencing the art and genius of Dalí.

GEODESIC DOME

Topped by a geodesic dome, the building offers a luminous space for contemplating Dalí's artistic endeavors.

The exterior of the building, studded with pieces of bread and topped by iconic eggs, reflects one of Dalí's artistic goals: "Beauty will be edible or not at all".
